Her diverse portfolio spans work with television personalities, celebrities, and high-profile public figures who trust her to deliver flawless results under high-definition lights.

Bringing a unique blend of media-ready technical precision and personalized artistry, Laura treats every client like a VIP, transforming hair journeys into confident, elevated style statements.

EARLY DAYS

Always having a passion for the beauty industry, Laura worked for Trish McAvoy when she graduated from high school. She learned so much from Trish and her brand, as well as Ashlee Norman (the hair guru), which is what inspired Laura to start her own brand.

Laura Guyton is the visionary hair artist behind LGS Salon Driven by a lifelong passion for high-end luxury styling and a keen eye for modern trends, Laura has built a reputation for delivering flawless, bespoke transformations. She specializes in premium, low-maintenance color artistry—including Balayage, Foilyage, Air Touch, and precision cutting—as well as master-level Keratin Smoothing Treatments, Luxury Extensions, and elite Wedding Hair Styling. She is currently a freelance artist doing hair for WETA, PBS NEWS HOUR, WASHINGTON WEEK, and other onsite media productions.

From crafting camera-ready looks as an on-set media stylist for broadcast television to designing breathtaking, timeless bridal styles for the modern bride, Laura's expertise spans the salon, the screen, and the aisle.

Committed to the highest standards of her craft, Laura is a certified Goldwell Master Colorist and a Bellami Hair Pro Extension Specialist. By blending advanced technical education with an intuitive understanding of each client’s unique vision, she creates a tailored, elevated experience from the moment you sit in her chair. Extensions, and several others. She also continues growing her business by continuing education every year in her field as well as other areas such as a social media class at Old Dominion University.

Do you have any pets? My amazing fur baby is a Lhasa Apso named Gigi!

What made you decide to start your business during COVID? I came from a very busy salon with 24 stylists… I realized I wanted to give a more one on one experience to my guests. As well as being able to customize my appointments according to each guest’s needs.

What was your mission at the start of your business? To be MY best and to share and grow my business into an actual brand. 

What is your favorite way to spend a day off? Working Out and spending time with friends and family. 

Are you more of an introvert or extrovert? Actually, I’m both! I need my downtime to recharge. 

What is your favorite season and why? Spring and fall… they both have the promise of renewal and change. 

What is your favorite color your hair has been? BLONDE lol, because I’m a brunette! But, to be honest I’ve loved them all!! 

What hair product can you not live without? Oribe! I love their products! As well as K18 to name a few

What is your definition of success? This is difficult for me to answer.. I find myself always working towards another goal, so success for me is accomplishing one thing so I can tackle the next goal! 

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why? I would be a healer, so that I could heal others. Or I’d have a photographic memory so I wouldn't have to write anything down..LOL! 

Where is your favorite place to visit? Italy/Paris. I can’t pick just one!

What do you want to conquer next in your career? I’d like to expand my brand to more weddings. And a clientele in San Diego!
